Spheres of Influence International Event Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy applies to all events conducted by Spheres of Influence International (SofII).
All requests for refunds must be in writing and emailed to info@spheresofinfluence.com.au .
If SofII cancels an event:
- registered attendees will be provided with as much notice as possible of this cancellation
- SofII will reimburse attendees for paid registration fees The reimbursement of registration fees will be provided to registered attendees by electronic funds transfer or cheque (at SofII’s option) and may take up to 4 weeks.
SofII will not be responsible for any loss or expense incurred by any attendees (whether registered or not) as a result of this cancellation. This includes, but is not limited to; booking fees, flights, accommodation, general travel, personal time spent arranging attendance and any associated cancellation fees.
If a SofII event is cancelled by the venue at which the event is to be held or SofII because of:
- an act of God
- extreme weather conditions
- war, riot, insurrection, terrorism vandalism or sabotage
- strike, lockout, ban, limitation of work or other industrial disturbance
- law, rule or regulation of any government or governmental agency and executive or administrative order or act of general or particular application.
Reimbursement of Fees
No reimbursement of fees will be given by SofII to paid attendees. SofII will not be responsible for any loss or expense incurred by any attendees (whether registered or not) as a result of this cancellation.
This includes, but is not limited to; booking fees, flights, accommodation, general travel, and personal time spent arranging attendance and any associated cancellation fees.
Cancellation by Registered Attendee
Subject to any cancellation terms specified on the SofII event registration form (including applicable administration fees), if a person who has registered to attend an event wishes to cancel his attendance, he or she may do so in accordance with the following terms:

if more than 30 days written notice is provided, all fees are refundable

if less than 30 days written notice is provided, 50% of fees are refundable

if less than 14 days written notice is provided no fees are refundable
Attendees at SofII events agree that they participate at their own risk. Attendees agree that SofII is not liable for any loss or damage whether direct or indirect arising from the attendees attendance at the SofII event. This includes but is not limited to any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with damage to property (whether the attendees or another party) or loss arising out of or in connection with any personal injury, illness or death (whether the attendees or another party).
Attendees at SofII events agree to indemnify and keep SofII indemnified from and against any liability to SofII arising directly or indirectly from any loss arising out of their attendance at the SofII event including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or death to any person, or damage to any property.
Unless otherwise specified, attendees at SofII events are expected to dress in neat business attire and to behave in a professional, business-like manner.
